Pair of XXL (very big) lamps by André Cazenave (1928–2003). . Iconic pieces of 1970s French design, the "Dora" model is also known as the pebble, stone, rock, or moonstone lamp. An original model produced by Ateliers A and Pierre Disderot in Paris, these lamps are highly sought after by collectors and vintage decor enthusiasts. Very rare in these sizes ; they are truly large. Material : Fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin with a marble powder finish; the larger lamp features an aluminum base. Dimensions: - Large: 57 cm long, 40 cm high, and 45 cm wide. - The other: 42 cm deep, 32 cm high, and 41 cm wide. Weight : less than 10 kgs . This set is exceptionally rare, particularly given its scale, and exemplifies Cazenave’s mastery of sculptural lighting. The organic forms and natural stone bases create a striking balance between Brutalist materiality and timeless French modernist design. The stone bases show slight signs of age-related character—visible in the photographs—that only enhance the authenticity and presence of these pieces. . The price is for the pair.
