Postmodern Italian Golden Totem Floor Lamp Kazuhide Takahama Sirrah 1980s

About the Item

An impressive floor lamp by the Italian manufacturer Sirrah, Milan, based on a design by Kazuhide Takahama from the early 1980s. Shown here in the gold version. Postmodern in form, color, and materiality. A functional uplighter and a striking focal point in the room. The slender lamp body is structured by folds and creases, evoking monumental architecture. Its scale is difficult to grasp. At the base of the lamp are two decorative gold spheres. The lamp is made of sheet metal with a gold-colored anodized finish. The base is made of concrete. The underside is rubberized. The lamp features a dimmer switch. The rotary knob is designed as a sphere to match the overall design. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina.
