Counterpoise floor lamp designed by Smith in 1948 for the Smith-Victor Lighting Co. A fully adjustable, collapsing-tripod-based floor lamp with counterweight, right angle joint-release keys, and an adjustment handle at the bulb. Smith-Victor decal and spray-stencil at counterweight and base.
