The beautiful light is composed of a satin brass frame with an inner frosted glass shade and an outer faceted clear green crystal shade. Three-light sources. Rewired. Original label and tag.
Oscar Torlasco Biography
Oscar Torlasco was a lighting designer of the 1950s and 1960s in Italy. In 1959 he won the Italian Design award `Compasso d`Oro` for his street lighting titled ´Genova 4053´ . The optic "lenses" shown in this chandelier are his trademark. Torlasco designed for a range of lighting companies in Italy including Lumi and Stilkronen which has since merged into the Falb group.
