Large Mid-Century and Farmhouse style flush mount by Ferro Art, Spain, 1950s

About the Item

Compatible with US/EU standards. Hollywood Regency and Mid-Century Modern style leaves flush mount by Ferro Art (also known as Ferroarte), Spain, 1950s. The structure is composed of several plant-shaped branches welded together in the form of a bouquet or a palm tree that emerge from the center, among which are arranged nine lamp holders. Hammering, welding, forging and metalworking. Finished in brushed gold/copper paint simulating gold leaf. Farmhouse, French Provincial, Palm Beach Regency, Starburst, Sunburst, Tudor and Fairy Tale style ceiling light, very timeless and for any type of decoration. It can be used as a wall light or sconce too, and as a pendant lamp or chandelier by adding a chain. Very much in the style of Maison Jansen and Maison Charles' French creations, of Ferrocolor's Spanish designs, and the brutalist Italian creations of Longobard. Very much in the style also of Hans Kögl and Willy Daro's designs. For nine E27 bulbs (compatible with American E26 bulbs). Original electrical installation reviewed and fully operational, with its original porcelain and brass lamp holders. LED compatible. Slight signs of wear and tear. Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
