Early 20th Century Holophane Medical Brass Chandelier Lantern Pendant Light
About the Item
A very rare adjustable Holophane medical/dental lantern.
A telescopic brass stem terminates to a heavy gauge cast brass central body and four angular arms. The central body has a lever adjustment that unscrews to allow the lamp to tilt right to left and left to right.
All metal sections have age related oxidisation, all the glass sections are in very good condition, some minor nibbles to the odd rim. Original ceiling mount and decorative chains. There is also a photograph of the light with different lengths of chain as a easy idea for a cluster type central pendant.

English in origin, circa 1920 in age.
