1950s Italian Brass and Opaline Glass Double Sconce in the Manner of Stilnovo

About the Item

1950s Italian Brass and Opaline Glass Double Sconce in the Manner of Stilnovo. Executed in polished brass hardware with two sculptural opaline glass shades, each providing a warm and diffuse light. An elegant and refined lighting design that reflects Italian midcentury aesthetics at their highest level. Unmarked. Stilnovo was one of the most innovative Italian lighting design companies during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors. Each shade accommodates 1x 60W max equivalent standard candelabra base (e12) LED bulb (LED only, not included). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new custom period-style brass backplate for mounting over a standard American J-box. UL listed. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
