About the Item

A dark-blue, vintage Mid-Century Modern Italian wall mirror made of hand blown cut crystal glass with its original colorful mirror glass, produced by Cristal Art in good condition. The slightly smoked illuminated wall mirror is composed with a eight light socket. The décor piece is enhanced by a grey glass ring with three chrome nail heads. The wires have been renewed. Minor fading, due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. circa 1950 - 1960, Milan, Italy. Cristal Art was an Italian company founded in 1944, in Turin, Italy by Giuseppe and Giovanni Donna. Cristal Art was a furniture company, specialized in creating, designing glass furniture and mirrors. Between the 1950s and 1980s, they worked together with the Italian manufacture FontanaArte and Santambrogio & De Berti. Cristal Art closed their company in 1999.
