About the Item
Monumental pair of Italian Barovier & Toso attribution handcrafted Murano art glass wall sconces or lights, Italy, circa 1970s. Beautiful floral shape showing the veins of a big leaf. Clear glass combined with a golden glass layer give them a noble and very chic look. Each glass leaf has patinated brass screws and a white painted metal fixture for four E27 standard screw bulbs to illuminate. The pictures show the original condition, meanwhile they are newly white painted. They are 90 cm / 35.43 inches tall ! , 28 cm / 11.02 inches wide and 10 cm / 3.94 inches deep. They stay in an excellent condition, the wiring is perfect so they are in fine working order and ready to use. Impressive and rare in this size, these beauties are eye-catcher and a perfect addition and upgrade for any Mid-Century Modern or stylish interior. When illuminated or unlit, they fill any room with noble elegance.
