This antique pair of sconces from France have been fashioned from 19th century brass/metal fixtures consisting of elaborately designed metal plaques, metal backplates, and a three-arm light fixture in leaf motif with metal flower petal wrapped bobèches, which have been mounted on 20th century wooden plaques. The carved wood plaque are shapely with scalloped top sides and rounded bottoms, and have a muted green finish which looks quite nice with the patina of the brass and metal.
