Pair of Tobia Scarpa for Flos Quarto Model Metal and Plexiglass Wall Sconces
About the Item
Quarto model wall or ceiling lamps, designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1973 and produced by Flos, now out of production. We propose two lamps.
Each lamp consists of a mirrored metal reflector in the shape of a quarter sphere, a molded perspex diffuser screen and a white painted aluminum base that contains the lamp holder and allows for wall or ceiling mounting.
The priority light component is the indirect light beam, upwards, with a pleasant reflection effect on the wall and refraction on the translucent profile on the side and top of the lamp.
The lamps are used but in good condition: there are no cracks in the reflectors, the plexiglass is intact with some signs of burns or deformations due to heat, the lamp holders are compliant with the law.
