Period Brass Ship's Wall Lamp with Weighted Gimble and Milk-Glass Lampshade

About
Period brass ship's wall lamp (with counterbalance and gimble). Made from solid brass castings and with a frosted milk-glass shade, this simple well-engineered light always stays upright in a rolling sea (or on a non-vertical wall). Slight pitting to the metal surfaces, the design is an electrified version of a traditional maritime design, and typical for the early 20th century.
It's in full working order having recently been re-wired and provided with new lamp-fitting, E27.
It is ready to be attached to any appropriate wiring in the wall using a screw-terminal block.
