Set of Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Ormolu Two Arms Wall Sconces
About the Item
Set of four French Louis XVI style wall sconces from the mid-19th century. Ormolu sconces with all original gold. Each wall light consists of a well-chiseled central column decorated with acanthus leaves and garlands and the top topped by a goblet with an eternal flame. The two arms start from the central column in the form of a scroll and branch decorated as acanthus leaves. They have holes made with the possibility of electrifying them, the cup of the candle is decorated with reed motifs.
