Set of Six 1930s Slip Shade Sconces
About the Item
Simple yet elegant vintage slip shade wall sconces by Virden of Milwaukee. Dates to late 1920s through the 30s, the Art Deco period of American design.
Solid cast iron back with clear frosted shades and the fixture is refinished in an original color of the period, antique golden. The shades have a rib and scroll work design which is echoed in the design of the cast iron back.
Rewired and ready to install. 60 watt max each.
The back behind the shade has been treated with a heat resistant silver reflective surface so more light will come through the glass.
Matching ceiling fixture available at time of listing.
