19th Century French Satsuma Urn Table Lamp

About the Item

19th century French Satsuma urn table Lamp features hand-painted artistry protected by a proprietary glaze that made such artifacts all the rage in 18th & 19th century Europe! This example sits on a French solid bronze base with a bronze cap at top, and is wired as a table lamp, originally used as an oil lamp. An exceptional panorama around the entire Shades shown only for reference, shade not included. Circa 1860s Measures: 30.5 height x 9 in diameter (height includes harp).
