About the Item
Articulating table lamp in Patinated brass. Most probably Italian, mid 20th century.
Beautiful and elegant articulating heavy brass table or desk lamp with a desirable patination. Great mid-century design and proportions with refined touches like the little knob on top and the beautiful switch with a brass ring around it. The patination it gained over time is just magnificent and really adds to the piece. There is just the right amount of wear on the brass surfaces. The inside of the shade is also highly original and patinated in the right manner.
Just a very original and well kept example of fine mid 20th century lighting. The overall design makes us think it was made in Italy, but we are not sure about that.
Versatile piece which you can use on a sideboard, table or desk and due to the articulating arm the light can be positioned as desired. It can swing out quite a bit and be used as a reading lamp.
Great vintage condition with a desirable patination.
