Atomic 1950s Table Lamp by ASEA, Sweden

About the Item

Early 1950s table lamp with fully adjustable partially perforated Aluminium shade. The concentric atomic styled base is made from black coated brass. The stem with its adjustable joint at the top is made from patinated brass. It was manufactured and designed by ASEA in Sweden in a style reminiscent of Svend Aage Holm Sørensen, Paavo Tynell and Boris Lacroix. The shade has been been re-lacquered later on.
