One hallmark of Mr. Baldinger's efforts began in 1982 when architect Michael Graves chose Louis Baldinger & Sons as the manufacturer of the custom designed lighting fixtures for his seminal, Post-Modern Humana Building in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1986, with the project complete, the public and design-community response to the building and its lighting led Daniel Baldinger to found Baldinger Architectural Lighting, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Louis Baldinger & Sons, Inc.
