About the Item

Blue Stoneware table lamp by Sejer Keramikfabrik in the 1960s - attractive lamp stand with vintage blue tartan textile shade included, in excellent vintage condition. This alluring stoneware lamp stand features a short round body with a decoration on the top plateau before narrowing into a long neck. The body, except for the top plateau, is kept unglazed, revealing the rough texture surface of the natural earthy dark brown clay, whereas the neck is glazed with a light blue color with clear visible hints of the clay underneath. The dark brown, unglazed body contrasts the light blue color on the neck, making it pop. The blue tartan textile shade suits both the dark brown, unglazed body and the light blue shade and emphasizes the character of the lamp Stand. The shade is not original to the lamp Stand, but included. An attractive vintage addition to a hall way welcoming guest, in the bedroom creating a cozy feel or perhaps in the living accenting a Scandinavian Modern decor. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of usage and age, no chips or cracks. The shade, shown on the photos, is included and is in very good vintage condition with few signs of usage and age. Underneath hallmarked Sejer Unic Denmark. Please see the photos! All original, but rewired with 1,5 m (4' 11.1") plastic cord and fitted with Euro style plug, which is easily changed to your specific plug. Tested and fully functional. The bulb mount features on/off switch. Cleaned, labelled and packed in protective bag. Light source: One bulb, Edison screw-fitting (E27/E26) Max 60 Watt.
