About the Item
The Boatiné lamps look yummy. Design plays with color, light and nostalgia, the feeling is familiar; the glass texture imitates the classic padded grandma's dressing gown.
The blue is blue, the pink is pink, the brown is brown, the green is green, and the orange is orange, but “the glass is fabric”.
This unique glass comes from the furnace of the artisan Sara Sorribes, who has helped Cristina on the product development by achieving the desired glass texture. She is the one that personally uses the fusing technique to shape each of the faces of the cube that make up the lamps in the workshop founded by her grandfather in 1920, in Valencia.
Boatiné is a table lamp collection designed to recreate the classic padded retro style textile in fused glass. Playing with light and nostalgia, cubes cause different sensations through their five colors: blue, pink, brown, green and orange.
The simple structure and easy size of the lamp allows it to be easily placed on any room surface in the house.

Cristina Omarrementería
Born in 1988, self-taught, Cristina creates from a romantic perspective; her designs are made only from classic materials such as wrought iron, natural stone and glass. Seduced by the elegant decadence of Mediterranean cities, she lives and works in Valencia, Spain, where she finds the talent of the artisans she works with. The constant aesthetic and intellectual research leads her to always add a psychological component to the objects she creates and to mix meaning and matter, tradition and fantasy, drama and pragmatism, to create unique furniture.
