B. M. Nielsen Experimental Organic Ceramic Art Table Lamps, 1960s
About the Item
Unique handmade and organic decorated Danish Mid-Century Modern stoneware table lamps by Danish experimental ceramic artist Bodil Marie Nielsen. Rustic and expressionist organic floral decor partly covered by runny shiny light blue glaze while black clay decorates parts of the raw cylinder shaped body of each lamp with a few of Nielsen's signature lined relief imprints. Stamped with artist's name and "Danmark" on the lower side of each lamp. Rewired with white cords and white porcelain fittings for E24 bulbs. Two rare examples of Danish modern Expressionist and experimental ceramic craftsmanship of the 1960s in beautiful vintage condition.
