About the Item
Tourists brought these home after visiting Italy during the grand tour period. They are cast of solid bronze in France.
Rising from the lion-footed base is a column holding a five-arm oil lamp with delicate chains hanging from it. The column has a hook to hang scissors to cut the wicks for the candles. The top finial is a Crane that just caught a snake.
