Florentine Cherub Table Lamp by Chelini White Finish, 1980
About the Item
Baroque style figural cherub table lamp by Chelini Firenze Manifacture, a late 20th-century tall Italian table lamp featuring a standing angel carved figure with later white painted distressed finish.
The shaped demi-lune grey-green lampshade with gold damask motif is not included in price, it is for display only just to give an idea of proportion. This lampshade would cost additional 150 euro.
Good condition, the figure was realized circa 1980s, it comes from a private Liberty villa in Milan.
Listed sizes are without lampshade. Angel figure only is 56 cm high and 68 cm is the height of electric wooden candle. Sizes with lampshade included are in cm 18 d. by 45 w. by 95 h.
Working European standard wiring for one E27 light bulb.
Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti. The shipping may require additional 2/3 handling weeks to require and get the license according to the final destination of the artwork.
