French Vintage Brass Lion Lamp
About the Item
Incredible table lamp featuring a heraldic lion balancing two vine-like lamp arms in its teeth and holding a crested shield. The original, celadon green silk lampshade is not in the best condition but is interesting to see as an ensemble with the base. It has a bronze-tone contrasting trim, and is mounted on a tall brass post rising from the lion figure. Sculptural and stylized, the unusual combination of historic references might raise more questions than the lamp can illuminate! Cleaned and wired for US electrical using UL listed parts, this lamp is ready to be placed in your interior. View the detailed images.
