Gold Brown Metal and Chrome Midcentury Desk Lamp Mod. 520 by Fase Madrid Spain
About the Item
Rotating light golden brown enamelled Metal Desk lamp from the Spanish lighting manufacturer Fase Madrid designed in the 1960s.
It featres an adjustable disc shaped shade with frosted glass diffuser, ball joint, with 2 sockets for E27 bulb size and a Switch at the backside of the shade and provides a soft and nice light partition. Stamped fase on the underside of the base.
The elegant, long stem in metal rests on a rotating round base. In absence of decorative details, the design convinces visually through the well-balanced appearance and elegant composition.
Condition: some wear and losses of lacquer on the base, original glass diffuser cracked but professionally repaired, please have a look at the pictures! The cracks are not visible and don´t disturb the functionality of the lamp, overall a very charming and iconic piece to use and attractive to look at.
This icon of Spanish industrial design will be a Great addition to every vintage interior.
