Handcrafted & Colorful Italian Murano Table Lamp from the Mid-Century Modern Era
About the Item
Italian art glass elegance combined with a very stylish brass base.
This rare and highly stylish table lamp from midcentury Italy is like a lady in an elegant summer hat. This Murano light fixture breathes nothing but class and great style and it can only have been created by one of the famous Murano glass studios. The original, white electrical wire was no longer presentable and we have rewired this very rare table lamp to the highest standard and with a beautiful golden wire instead. With 20th century light fixtures as one of our specialities we can tell you that in all our years of working in this field, we have never before seen a Murano table lamp like this. The mint condition, mouth blown and colored art glass shade is the perfect match with the remarkable C-shaped brass arm on the circular design and weighted base. Originally the shade was made to be slightly tilted to one side (see image 17), but we prefer the shade laying flat on top and that is how we shot most of our photos. In the daytime this aesthetically pleasing lamp is like a work of glass art on display and in the evenings, with the light switched on, you could not wish for a more elegant and warm light radiating lamp. She will create an atmosphere that is second to none and she will never fail to impress. Like we mentioned earlier this light is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage the world over and when purchased by an American client, we will also attach an American power plug so that she can be used and enjoyed upon arrival.
