About the Item
Classic Brutalist school table lamp designed by Harry Balmer and Harold Weiss, for the Laurel Lamp Co. circa 1960/70's. Known as the Ribbon Lamp, this piece features an exaggerated sculptural metal body constructed of toned steel, mounted on a squared black plinth base. This example is in very good, original, clean, working and ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age.
