About the Item

Compatible with US/EU standards. LED compatible. Lampshades included. Hollywood Regency ceramic table lamps in a very cozy Chinoiserie style, Spain, 1970s. Each piece is composed of a turned ceramic base in the shape of a vase or tibor with a shiny black finish, and featuring a hand-painted design of white cranes or herons with trees and flowers in an Asian-inspired and Mid-Century style. Gold painted details and gold chrome metal structure. The original matching lampshades are included and are made of a metal structure with off-white fabric and gold cord. Both signed by the maker. Palm Beach Regency, Oriental, Japanese, French Riviera, Mid-Century Modern, Art Nouveau, Belle Époque, French Provincial, Italian Modern and Chinese style. Very much in the style of Manises, Cerámicas Bondia and Hispania CH’s Spanish ceramic creations, and of Paolo Traversi, Capo di Monte and Bassano’s Italian porcelain designs. For one E27 light bulb each piece (compatible with American E26 bulbs). Original electrical installation reviewed and fully oparational. LED compatible. Please note: one of the pieces had a crack on its back side and it was repaired and concealed with black and white paint featuring “night flowers”; these “night flowers” were also painted on the other piece to match the vibe. The crack and repairs are visible in the last photos. Wear consistent with age and use on the metal parts (see photos). Lampshades included, which have some stains from the old glue (see photos). Total measurements: 60cm height, 36cm diameter. Base measurements: 39.5cm height, 15.5cm diameter. Lampshade measurements: 25cm height, 36cm diameter. Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
