Jean-Boris Lacroix was one of the leading designers of lamps and vases around 1930. He was the creative director of the famous French fashion house Madeleine Vionnet from 1924 to 1937. This lamp is one of the icons of the French Modernist Art Deco period. - Circa 1930. - Produced by MITIS. - The cylindrical structure is made of nickel-plated metal with a central frosted glass shade held by three supports. - It rests on a flat circular base with an extended rim. - It has two bulbs: one in the lower glass cylinder and one in the upper glass lampshade.
