About the Item

Large brown table lamp, No. 1207 by Einar Johansen for Søholm Stentøj in the 1960s - attractive brown glazed lamp Stand with vintage red fabric shade included, in excellent vintage condition. A beautiful tall ceramic lamp-stand with a curved body, slimming into a long narrowing neck and covered with a rich glaze in light brown-nuances. The body features indentations, emphasized by a light beige tone with yellowish edges, that extends up along the neck. The shade, shown in the photos, are not original to the lamp Stand, but contemporary and plays well with the brown nuances in the glaze. With its charming carafe-like shape and warm red shade, this table lamp would look amazing on a nightstand or on a lamp table near a corner in the living room. This piece is designed by Einar Johansen, who designed several lights for Søholm in the period 1958-1968. Underneath marked Søholm Stentøj and numbered 1207. Charming table light in excellent vintage condition - no cracks or chips. The vintage shade, which is included, is in good vintage condition with normal signs of usage and age. Please see the photos! All original including 1,5 m (4' 11.1") white plastic cord and fitted with Euro style plug - which can be fitted with a plug adapter, or is easily changed to your specific plug. The bulb socket features the on/off switch. Tested and fully functional. Cleaned, labeled and packed in protective plastic cover. Light source: One bulb, Edison screw-fitting (E27/E26) Max 60 Watt.
