About the Item
Rare, large and heavy quality Vereinigte Werkstätten (United Workshops / Ateliers) table lamp in polished brass and patinated brushed bronze metal, made in Germany circa 1970s / beginning of the 1980s. This vintage midcentury design would fit within the Hollywood Regency, Brutalist and midcentury as well as modern styles. These lamps are often wrongly attributed to the renowned French design firm Maison Jansen - however, the quality of these is on par with furniture by Maison Jansen - beautifully made and finished.
Original shade is included but the lamp can easily be made to look more contemporary with a new style of lampshade.
The light requires a single E27 light bulb (60 Watt Max.) Original EU wiring and plug socket.
