About the Item
Impressive Space Age table or floor lamp with a hand-blown glass ball.
What is particularly striking about this lamp is the contrast between the organic design language of the glass and the technical details of the frame and supply cable. The mouth-blown glass diffuser is made of clear glass in two colors. The ball lies loosely in a ring and can be tilted and rotated to a certain extent. The foot consists of a continuous steel tube, which forms the ring at the top to hold the ball and a ring-shaped foot at the bottom. The supply line is routed inside the foot. A striking detail here is the upper part of the supply line, which is led to the socket in a flexible metal hose. The frame sits on a concave metal shell that fits perfectly to the ball. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
