About the Item
A beautiful aluminum desk or table lamp, circa 1930.
Exquisitely fabricated with lovely details, this is one of the most elegant of this style of desk lamp that we have seen.
Although we haven't yet been able to attribute this lamp to a specific designer, it is in the style of the German Modernist and Bauhaus designers including Wilhelm Wagenfeld, Marianne Brandt and Christian Dell.
Condition: Very good!
The chrome shade, stand and base are all in good original and un-restored condition with only very minor wear in accordance with age.
The lamp is fully functioning and has been re-wired.
We can change the cable length and type (plastic or fabric) and cable & switch color as required.
Please note: this lamp will be shipped with the shade un-screwed from the stand. It is very straightforward to re-attach.
