    By Heifetz, Yasha Heifetz
    Located in New York, NY
Yasha Heifetz designed lamp for self manufacturing company, Heifetz Lighting Co. A tall sculptural biomorphic cerused oak wood table lamp on black painted wooden base. Carved from a single piece of oak and mounted on a rectangle tapered wood base. Features original leather lampshade with original black whip-stitch trim to accent its black wooden base. 2 pieces of damage to shade, both shown in images, are both not noticeable when the light is in use. Incredible condition for work created in the 1950's. Yasha Heifetz began Heifetz Lighitng Company in 1938. Over 600 designers participated in the competition; including Richard Schultz of Knoll and Alexey Brodovitch...
