Pair of Chapman Brutalist Faux Riveted Cauldron Table Lamps, 1982 An exceptional pair of vintage Chapman table lamps designed in the form of antique hand-forged cauldrons. Constructed from heavy metal with a beautifully aged bronzed finish, each lamp features an applied riveted banded design, oversized forged ring handles, and a wide rolled rim that evokes centuries-old European and Asian copper vessels. The sculptural bodies are topped with original Chapman hardware and urn-form brass finials. Their rich patina and handcrafted appearance make them striking decorative objects even when unlit. Produced by Chapman in 1982, these lamps exemplify the company’s renowned craftsmanship and sophisticated interpretations of historical forms. The combination of Brutalist texture, primitive styling, and classical silhouettes makes them equally suited to Spanish Revival, Mediterranean, Rustic Modern, Organic Modern, and Hollywood Regency interiors.
