About the Item

Pair of table lamps by Einar Johansen for Søholm Stentøj, Denmark, circa 1960s. The sculptural shape and the glossy dusty blue glaze, which turn into brown at the edges give the lamps a very vivid expression. Included are new lamp shades designed and made in Denmark of woven fabric with some texture. The color of the shades is off-white and they have a top cover that makes the light spread downwards in a cozy way. The lamps are marked Søholm Denmark Stentøj (stoneware) + 1084-2+ initials EJ for Ejnar Johansen Very good vintage condition with full function Measurements Height including lamp shade 53.5 cm Height ceramic part only 32 cm Height incl. socket 38.5 cm Diameter lamp base: 17 cm Diameter lamp shade: 30 cm Light bulb: For type E 26/E 27 Edison screw-fitting. The lamps are made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
