Pair of Marbro Seguso Murano table lamps circa 1950
Fantastic pair of vintage table lamps, Murano, Italy.
In varying shades of yellow and amber, these lamps have a corroso (corroded) finish, where the glass surface is irregular to the touch; a technique that was used to create a "hammered" effect. Because of the difficultly in creating this effect, the technique is rarely used today.
The lamps measure 7" diameter at the base x 26" high to the top of the glass x 37" high to the top of the sockets.
The necks are different here, but these are easily replaced.
The glass is in very good condition, showing no chips, or cracks.
No shades / no harps.
