A delightful petite teak lamp with jute strand shade by Jørgen Gammelgaard.

Gammelgaard was trained as a cabinetmaker at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts and served an apprenticeship at C. B. Hansen's workshop in Copenhagen, and later studied with Grete Jalk and at the Royal Academy of Denmark under Poul Kjærholm and Ole Wanscher.

His notable designs range from silverware for Georg Jensen to his tip-top and VIP lamp series, delivering simple but refined creations in natural materials and stainless steel.
