Rude Osolnik Table Lamp
About the Item
Rude Osolnik, circa 1975. 35" tall to top of finial. Wood body measures 21" tall, 5" wide. From the private collection of Rude Osolnik and signed to underside. baluster form with spheres of wood with subtle tapering to the form. The wood could be a light walnut or butternut. Exceptionally fine grain. Elaborate sculpture in lamp form. Lamp shade shown for illustration (as it is new) but can be included in the sale if requested. Beautiful example of American Craftsmanship from this renowned wood turner and carpenter. Of his lamps produced this particular one shows an exceptional skill in balance and precision and was probably kept by Mr. Osolnik for this very reason. Image included also shows other objects available from his personal collection.
