A Pair of 1970s lamps by Tommaso Barbi.
They were made in Italy in white glazed ceramic with gold details.
The 38cm diameter structure has a rounded and ribbed shape highlighted by gold brushstrokes.
The manufacturer's mark is visibile at the base of the lamps.
The electrical system is the original one of the period.
The lampshades are in good condition but have slight signs of aging such as small spots.

This is an "atmosphere" lamp and not a reading lamp. The dimmable halogen bulb releases a light that is softened and tinged with pastel colors by the shaded and colored Murano glass. The lamp is essentially composed of two modules: The first is a base in light gray overlaid with white Murano glass, decorated with thin iron gray lines. This has a conical shape and houses the halogen bulb inside. The second is a large shaded Murano glass lampshade.
