About the Item

Table lamp by Ernst Keramik in the 1970s - gorgeous charcoal gray and red stoneware lamp stand with vintage shade included, all in excellent vintage condition. An expressive table lamp with a dramatic glaze - the glossy rich, almost fat lava glaze covers the tall cylindrical neck, and has dripped on the upper part of the round body. The lower part of the body and the slightly narrower base is left unglazed, but covered with a rich charcoal gray color. The glossy glaze is colored with a deep gray going on black tone with a red, almost orange tone on body and the top part of the neck. The checkered textile shade, shown in the photos, is included, but not original to the lamp stand. The delicate rose color in the shade compliment the red tone in the glaze, and gives softness to this captivating lamp stand. With its sleek lines, beautiful colors and delicate rose colored shade, it would also look amazing on a nightstand or on a lamp table near a corner. A piece produced at Ernst Keramik in Faxe, Denmark, a smaller Pottery owned by Ernst Nielsen. The Pottery produced a range of stoneware themed by a beautiful expressive glazing with clear inspiration from West German glazing techniques, like on this table lamp. Condition: Excellent vintage condition - no cracks or chips, the shade, which is included, is in very good vintage condition with few signs of usage and age. Please see the photos! All original including 1.6 m (5' 3") plastic cord with Euro style plug, which is easily changed to your specific plug. Tested and fully functional. The bulb mount features the on/off switch. Cleaned, labelled and packed in protective bag. Light source: One bulb, Edison screw-fitting (E27/E26) Max 60 Watt.
