Art Deco table lamp in Patinated brass 1950s.
This is a wonderfully patinated table lamp in a distinct art deco style, probably made in the 1950s. A very rich and elegant design, with good proportions and details.
The most beautiful feature of this lamp however is the patination on the brass parts it gained over time. Every piece of brass on this lamp has a very desirable patina and although the overall design of this lamp is elegant and timeless, this patina makes it really stand out from the crowd. Just look at the shifting hues of brown, bronze and gold on this piece. Even the inside of the lamp - highlighted very beautifully when lit - is highly patinated and therefore very rich and unique in its appearance.
There are two bulbes inside, so the lamp will give you sufficient light. Therefore it is not only a very decorative lamp, but also a very usable one. Great as a desk lamp, but also very good on a sideboard or table.
Great vintage condition with a desirable patination on the brass parts.
