Joyful vintage MCM (Mid-Century Modern) Art Deco figural jester or harlequin table lamps in the style of Marbro, a pair. Comprised of molded plaster, blue, green, and gold hand painted details, antiqued gold painted stems, brass plated steel finials, and green & blue harlequin shades, Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the finish was a bit chipped on the base of the female & her mask was also chipped around the edges. Both places have been repaired. There are also hairline cracks visible when viewing closely but they are only on surface and not structural and inherent to the pieces. They have been given new 3 way light sockets and felt bases. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th Century.

The house, originally designed by Paul Williams in 1933 was given the Haines touch when his clients a young family of five purchased and moved in in 1963. Haines made appropriate changes to the structure and being at the top of his game, both the architectural changes and the custom furnishings clearly illustrate this. He discreetly added a projection room to the front of the house so that the cleverly concealed projectors made for a movie going experience in the living room.
