A beautiful vintage Danish chrome 12 candleholder designed by Jens Quistgaard.
Included are 2 boxes of 12 original vintage taper candles?
Quistgaard lthough a sculptor and rooted in traditional craftsmanship, he made an early international career as an industrial designer. From the mid-1950s, his designs for tables and kitchens became synonymous with Scandinavian modern and found their way into millions of homes in the US, Europe and Japan. With his international orientation and success, he was a pioneer, and he had a great impact on the place Danish Design gained in the consciousness of many Americans. In 1958 he received the Neiman-Marcus award and in the following years he was represented in major museums in Europe and the USA. A number of Jens Quistgaard's works are still being produced.
