Continental Carved Oak Convex Mirror with Bracket Shelf

About the Item

Continental carved oak frame surrounding convex mirror, an eagle with outstretched wings surmounting the garlanded circular frame above a shelf supported by crested falcon. This mirror seems loosely based on grander Regency or Federal examples but with a charmingly naive twist. Although plainly European it is of uncertain origin, we suggest France.
