Specchio #3, 2019 Oval custom handmade color mirror One of a kind 5 to 6 weeks of productions This mirror composition is the result of three-dimensional shapes arranged in three different depths. The mirror is held together by a solid wood structure with a hand-varnished brass finish and is completed with a special spray to give it an aged effect. Each mirror is hand-colored with multiple component inks, making this functional art piece a one-of-a-kind object. Composition with different shapes, sizes, and custom colors is available upon request. An elegant piece of functional decor that seemingly floats in a frameless design, this modern mirror displays a timeless sensibility that complements any type of interior. Mounted on a slim, brass-varnished wooden support, the three overlapping oval mirrors each feature a different color, painted by hand using ink. The chromatic contrast and aged finish (obtained using a special spray) enhance the two-dimensional effect, adding a bright and reflective element of style to any room. Madotto was born in Venice. After living in Milan and London, she started working for Ralph Lauren Home in 2005 in Miami, Florida. She has worked on projects that span from hotels and public spaces to large residences in the United States and Latin America. In 2016, she started her own company and line where she collaborates with hotel chains as a design curator.
