A very handsome narrow carved and gilded pier mirror with crisp three dimensional carving of a fruit and flower filled basket in the top section. Laurel branches are especially finely executed. An attractive surface with heavy distress, some losses to the gilding throughout. Retains wooden back and original glass with desilvering. The wall mounted console is matched in size and features open guilloche carving in the apron and acanthus carved supports.
