Carved, Gilded, and Painted Trumeau Mirror

This Louis XVI trumeau mirror is one of two mirrors that are from the same paneled room in a chateau in southwest France. They have the same ring garland and bow applique´ and moldings, but differ slightly in size. This decorative panel is framed with bead molding.
