Superb Italian giltwood mirror from the 18th century. The decoration is embellished with finely chiseled foliage, acanthus and flowers. Superb openwork carving work testifying to the exceptional know-how of the craftsmen of the time. The original gilding, well preserved, gives this piece a brilliant luminosity and an authentic patina which underlines its antique character. The glass is of the 18th century with mercury and has a magnificent bevel. Condition: Very good general condition with slight wear to the gilding, consistent with the age of the piece.
