19th Century Victorian Beveled Oval Mirror w. Hand Carved Queen Victoria Image
About the Item
Rare and practical size, antique mirror.
This late Victorian, beveled mirror is in very good and original condition. The oak leafs atop are shaped like a royal crown. In the middle of this stylized crown is a beautifully carved image of a young Queen Victoria. The inside rim of the mirror frame is also decorated with stunning and delicate floral motives. In image 8 we try to show you that there is minor fading of the silver (or tin) foil on the back of the mirror (on the right side of the mirror). We don't know if you can see it, but it definitely does not take anything away from normal usage of the mirror. In our view it only adds to the character of it, but we feel we have to mention and show it anyway. Mind you, our price for this gem even includes perfect packing and also worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 days.
